The boo in my head has many many chapters. I always looks back at the sign I have seen from year to year. I have never wrote it down on paper though. I think it's a good idea but I can seem to remember this stuff very well.

I keep a notebook and use it to record stuff like what equipment worked good for me, as well as where the best place to set was ect.. A thing I write down alot and have been taking pictures of, is recording what if any physical damage a trap or method causes to a catch, and how I can do better. Like if dragged traps for coons were better for dry land sets on my lines for instance.(That one suprised me this year) I also like to experiment with making stuff for trapping and like to write down ideas I have when I think of a trapping use for a thing that is ordinarily used for another purpose. You also see alot of good ideas that other people have and you forget them if you don't write it down. With only limited part time trapping, it usually takes me a couple of seasons to draw any usable conculsions from this note taking but I think it's worthwhile. I have to write it down. I suffer from terminal CRS, must be part of getting older

This is my first year trapping. I have been learning from what is said and from what i read. And some trappers do come up with good ideas. I try alot of different sets some work and some don't. And i will be using a camera as well, i think it is a good idea.
