He used to be on here before we went down. I haven't seen him post over on the bucket of guts in a while either?

I still check the posts on here every so often to keep up with what's happening in NYS.
In trying to post this I found I had to re-register. Must have lost me at the recent change.
Don't post or go to the bucket or a few other sites as I didn't care for the chit that I was being subjected to by a few of the cheerleaders who were bad mouthing those of us that belonged to the Reform Party in the NTA elections. They seem to be the dominant bigmouths on those boards and I don't need to subject myself to that.
I post on mostly Porter's board as I am accepted there.

Things are pretty good over here. My wife has a new job starting the first of the year with Dutchess Co. Health Dept. and we will sell here and move a little farther north, maybe Columbia Co.
Not my "back home" in Central NY but better than down this far.
How's the trapping going for you this year?
Tim, You got it buddy!! Right on!!

Trapping was good with the fox in early season then I started a remodeling project and pulled the K9 line. It is my first year targeting beaver and I am four for the year so far...Believe it or not that is alot of beaver for my county! There are I believe two more remaining on this nuisance permit property that I hope to have this week. I have a few mink sets out but have no mink fot the year..No sign either. I don't know what happened to the mink in Rockland Co. How about you? Are you able to get out this year? I am glad to hear about your move. I am sure it is a direction you wanted to go.

Sounds like you are starting to get the canines down pat!! Beaver too! Great!! Mink are fun. Always my favorite next to canines.
I had to sit this season out due to health problems but things look brighter for the future. I'll be going on my Social Security "retirement" starting January and with the housing move things will be different next year.
Ready for ice fishing?

Hey Paul, good to see you posting and chatting. So where were you originally from in central NY? I'm guessing you've got some fisher and cat trapping coming up with a move to Columbia county?

Jim I was up in the Cherry Valley/Springfield and Richfield Springs/Jordanville area.
Got a lot of fur out of there esp. in the boom days.
Looking forward to the fisher and cats. New experience for me.

I bet you had some good days there. I've been through that area and it's got some great cover.
Well when you run out of traps cause they're all filled with fisher and cats everyday and you just can't skin anymore, give a shout and I'll be glad to help you out ;D
