Hello to all just wonder how many folks have sen fishers in the western Catskills Leatherstocking area?

I'm in the Utica area and have quite a few within 20 mile's from me. There are a few Catskill men on here, hopefully they'll speak up

I have never seen one either, but you got to wonder about some of these so called " black panther" sightings you sometimes hear about. I think that maybe some may actually be sightings of fisher.

Reedo i live in the eastern side of the catskills and we have a very healhty fisher population here. As a matter of fact where i work was one of the places they reintroduced them back in the seventies. I have seen 4 of them since the beginning of the year at several different places in the county. They are a very cool animal to watch and trap ;D

I saw one a couple weekends ago on my property. I'm a long ways from the catskills though.

I haven`t seen any myself but talked to a couple of bow hunters who have seen some in Motgomery Co. while in their stand.
