Eric, did you use the borax method on the ears? The fox looks good to my rookie eyes. Looks like the two I have hanging in my furshed.

Don't forget a belly wedge! And I would not leave the front legs in like that if not boraxed. Nice job!

comb the fur towards the ears all the way around the belly and hang upside-down to keep it that way. I have holes drilled in all of my boards and/or a loop of cable to hang them this way.
And spend some of your beer money on aluminum pushpins vs. those colored office whimpy pins.
I'd put a push pin in each eye, three o'clock on one eye and 9 o'clock on the other. Makes hanging them after to take them off the stretcher easier, whether in wire bundles, on fur hangers, or just taking year-end pics.

Zagman is correct , I always brush the fur towards the head and after the fox is on the board I ring its tail towards the body fluffing it up . I also comb the mane outwards towards the outside egdes too . Look like a nice fox and youve done a really nice job so far.

Same as Zagman and Flatiron... I also tack the tip of the nose to the board, just to be certain the nose doesn't slip over while drying. Nice work though! Heck, I don't even remove the ear cartilage....

If that is your first put up of a fox you did an excellent job.
To dry the front legs place on squirrel stretchers then turn when pelt is dry. Be careful if you are boarding fur out before drying. Jim
