This is my first mink put up how does it look....any suggestions? Eric

Looks good, the only thing I do different is I pleat the tail so it's not so long, rather shorter & fatter & pin the back legs on the same side as the tail and pleat the bottom as well. It makes the fur on the back side look thicker & fuller. I also cut the front legs a bit shorter, but the way you put it up looks good

pin the legs on the same side of the tail like Itrapny said. also cut a viewing window from just below the vent where the thingy bone was (since this was a male) down to the side of each leg. doing these will give a nice large window that graders look for when buying fur

I've noticed that when you pin the back legs on the same side as the tail, it makes a natural inspection window.

Hello, one little thing I do is cut the lower lip off. it has no fur value and can fold over and taint. You did well.

I don't have any suggestions but those pins really brighten things up Can't wait to see the finished product bud.

I would suggest you remove more of the fat around the front legs, on the belly, and on the back just ahead of the tail.

I use a tablespoon for work on mink and rats to remove the fat.
