We saw a bunch of birds yesterday morning. But most of the birds wouldn't cooperate. I think it was due to the lack of stubble or anything to hide us. However it was a success because I brought my middle son out on his first goose hunt and he had a good time. His favorite part was retrieving a couple of cripples from the far end of the field with my friend and his dog.

Nice hunt, good to see the youngster involved. We use the silos all the time, love them.

Yes Dale, he is our hockey player. He's 9 years old and he'll be trying out for the Squirt team this month. Then their practices will start in October. We do get him into a couple clinics during the summer. But now things are getting busy fast. I'll let you know soon if I think he can participate in the clinic.
