I just got back into the trapping game and came up with a couple of little tricks. 1) when skinning fox, yotes, coon try putting a sandwich bag around the nose and secure with a rubber band. This keeps blood off the fur when it is hanging down over the head. When you get to the mouth area pull off baggie and skin the rest of the way out . 2) I found that I did not care for the way our fox and yotes looked when dry(stiff as a board from nose to tip of tale). I used a piece of 4" heavy pvc pipe and worked the fur around it as if you were shinning shoes. this limbered up the fur and with either a fur comb or a couple of snaps the fur stood up real nice ;D. pockets
