Whats size packbasket is best to use? Are 2 used - one for traps, and another for checking?

I use a 18 inch packbasket. I like the traditional basket weave ones. I personally use my packbasket for everthing but my traps and trap stakes. I find it much easier to carry my traps and stakes in a clean plastice bucket.

Almost forgot about the wood, synthetic (right?), and plastic pack baskets.

I use wood, wouldn't ever use synthetic. I have two baskets because I walk quite a bit. One I use for setting traps and one I use for checking to carry my animals out in. I don't want to have my clean traps smelling like animals. If I didn't walk so far, I probably wouldn't even use one at all.

Gotcha!! Thanks. I was going to buy one but someone I just met might sell me his supplies. I still need to look the items over but packbasket included. Old stock him and his wife used to use 20 yrs ago.

The 18" packbaskets seem to be the most popular, along with a few 22" baskets for the beaver trappers
