Im guessing most of you use propane stoves. A few I've seen online for $25-50. Is the double overkill?

For boiling traps??? I'm guessing...You only need the single. I keep an old turkey cooker pot full of dye on mine. When traps need it...fire it up and 10 minutes your redying them. Only takes 20 minutes or so and they're done. 20 lbs of propane lasts along time too.

Yep pretty much the same deal. I've got an old double - just need to rig up a hose. Seems much quicker than the nostalgic fire pit. The new ones look nice though.

I have used a double camp stove for years just to wax my traps, and also use a turkey pot for dyeing traps. With the camp stove you can control the heat better as needed for waxing!

I use a 2 burner hot plate for waxing traps too. Works great at controlling the temp and the pot I use fits over both burner just right.

This is what I use for heat. Its a propane heater. It heats up the shed in about 5 minutes. It was in my grandfathers shed and he gave it to me so I wouldn't have to skin beavers in the cold anymore. I have to get one for boiling traps next year.

I wonder if that would fit in my tree stand?
