How much lure do you use at your dirthole and bucket sets. I want to use plum loco in dirthole and bucket sets. I saw the lure is sold in 1 and 4 oz. bottles. On the bucket set do you put the lure inside with bait (probably marshmellows/sardines/marckrel). Or no lure at bucket sets.

I use a little more 'coon lure than I would for K-9's but still use either a small stick or weed stem about the size of a wooden match stick. For K-9's I use 1 dip and for 'coon usually 2-3 depending on how cold it is outside. I almost always use a lure holder to help protect the lure form the weather, one of my favotites is sheep's wool. It in itself can be an attractor and when you combine it with something that smells good you have something that holds their interest a bit longer. The longer you can keep your lure dry the longer it will last, so yes, I'd put it on the inside lip of any cubby that I use.
