Reckon I'm too busy posting catch pics BUT should be helping out those who need a few helpful hints . I use lots and lots of zip ties in the fur shed . The biggest use is when putting up fur, I cringe every fur sale when i see those neat fur hangers shoved through an eye hole on a bunch of nice fox . My use of zip ties is right after washing , fleshing and tumbling is to put a heavy zip tie through the nostril of the critter . works great to hang up your fur while drying , I hang the zip tie on a hook this often means putting a nail or staple in the nose of the critter to keep from that long possum looking nose . When the fur is dry , I hang the zipper on a hook in the fur shed rafter , remove nails and belly board , give a yank and the board slips out . I often use a different color zip tie for the times of the year and to grade fur as i go. When putting up for a sale all i have to do is take a heavy duty zip tie and bundle my graded fur accordingly . Being half Scottish I'm just too d@mn cheap to buy those $3.95 fur hangers ! ;D The zippers have served me well for years --- give em a try . thanks for the time , Von
