I'm thinking of getting in to calling grays in at night. A local guy that does it swears by gray fox pup calls I'm wondering if anyone else has the same luck with this sound and also what is a cheap way of going about calling them in using e-callers i don't have the money for a foxpro or any other expensive e-callers.
Thanks Eric

That sound does work well for greys , johnny stewart or dennis kirk have good sounding grey fox pup sounds .look on ebay for used tape callers they go for anywheres from $40 on up , also i think you can get johnny stewarts new caller with remote for like 150, not sure if they have GFP on one of the sound cards . Good luck

I have Cass Creek predator call and it is OK as long as it is warm. When it gets cold, it does not work. I wouldn't buy another one.

I dont have as much luck callin greys when its real cold or a foot of snow . they have some fat on em , i think they hole up for quite a spell sometimes.Coyotes are much easier this time of year .Few hours right before a storm with wind they are lookin hard for a meal .Rabbit distress works good.Deer hunters will be gone also. The calling will be pickin up.Good luck
