Hi Kody- Check out this link nytrappers.proboards80.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=sets&thread=3666&page=1#35681 It tells you exactly how to set up a hayset, including lures. I followed these instructions this year for the first time and connected on my first fox. What I did was use NightOwl Fox urine and gland scent, and then added some Night Owl Crossbones which has a high skunk essence to it, which seemed to attract what I was looking for. In this cold weather, from what I have read, you may need to be heavier on the lure because it doesn't carry like it does in the warmer weather. Check out the Set Making section hear and give them a try. It has been a great help to me.
