I got this one yesterday. Unfortunately for me, it is a seven minute walk in to where the trap is set so you can imagine what it was like hauling him out. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks guys, I do not know what he weighed, but comparing him to last years "whopper" he seems pretty close in size, I would guess about 50-55 lbs. Here are comparison shots of last years to this years. This years: Last Years

Spencer: I have a rule of my own you may be intrested in .------- Any beaver cought that looks like if may weigh over 20 lbs---- and it is cought more than 60 feet from the truck---- gets SKINNED RIGHT WHERE IT LAYS------ you learn to skin fast and you save your back. Give it a try I am sure you will agree.

You guys are right, but I was checking before work, and I had to do a quick check and get to work so I did not have the time to skin it out on the spot. besides, it was 5:30 in the morning and as dark as it could be
