I was just wondering if any of you have caught a beaver in a 110 before? It worked well on this one !! I looked over the bank and thought "that is a record rat". Then I saw the flat tail and said What the heck!!!! Its good I have a nuisance permit at this place.

That's one strong 110. What brand?
Guess that's a good reason to have to solidly wired to something.

Not sure what brand. I dont pay too much attention to 110 brands. It was wired to a root. Never now what you are going to get. Wire them off strong!!!

The first beaver I ever trapped was in a 11/2 mink set. I was just amazed when I saw this one.

Only if you get an otter. New 110 regs. Traps set in a body of water that are inhabitated by otter must be no more than 1" x 1" inside jaw spread, and trigger must be offset no more than 1/4 inch from jaw. The trigger may be no more than 1/8" in length. Trigger tension may be no less than 1,000,000 pounds. Traps must be set at a minimum depth of 15' below the surface of the water. ;D ;D ;D ;D
