Clothes were aired out before the rain last week. Now there in scent proof bags. Broadheads tested and flying true. 2 weeks ago I cleared shooting lanes around my stand. Vacation starts Next Thursday and I am not missing Saturday morning for anything.
I just have to activate my Scentblocker in the dryer and I am good to go.
Good luck everyone.

Bow Season must be upon us here in WNY. 40 MPH gusts for Saturday. Nothin like swaying 4 feet each way 20 feet up a tree. Makes for a challenging hunt!

Just took a drive at dusk and I am pumped. Saw a total of 36 deer. 23 are within a mile of my stand. Saw a spike and a 4 or 6 pointer fighting hard. I don't think it was sparring. when they saw me they took off. Also saw 2 other bucks. One has a nice rack outside the ears but couldn't count the points cause he was too far. The other was a high dark rack. Like the ones you see in Canada. I don't think I am going to sleep much tonight. ;D ;D ;D

Spooked 2 on the walk in. Had 6 turkeys come in at 8:00 but never got a shot off. Hard when that many eyes are on you. Saw a small deer at 8:45 but couldn't tell what it was. Another guy got a doe and I helped him gut and load on to the 4 wheeler. I'll be back out tomorrow or Monday night then vacation starting on Thursday.

Another one for the Meat pole. This one with a Muzzleloader. Opening Day here in Northern Zone. Passed up alot of Small Bucks like this last year and just wanted to get one under the belt before focusing on a nicer rack. Besides the meat tastes the same reguardless of how big the "Rack" is... Took this buck (5 pointer) a mile back in! And got turned around dragging it out. Ended up taking a swim through the Beaver ponds to get him back home.
