Does anyone know how to use the can? I mean "The original can" . I just received a Primos hunting call. Do you have it call only once, or do you have it call 3 or 4 times, than wait for 30 min. or so. Then call again. If someone could help me please. Thanks John

John, Just flip it over. I usually do 1 short...then 2 longer. Last one let go all the way to the bottom. Go about 15-20 minutes between. Keep your eyes downwind. If there is a buck in the area that hears it, he will either try to sneak down wind. Or come crashing in full speed with his "thing" hanging out. Biggest buck I ever missed (with a bow) I didn't even know he was 75 yards behind me. I hit the can and I thought a D8 was coming through the woods. They are also great for stopping a buck in his tracks. If you see one out of bow range, flip that can over all the way. If he hears it he'll stop dead in his tracks. Be patient with him. They have all the time in the world. He may go out to 100 or 200 yards to circle back...sneaking the whole way. Good luck...and have fun. It's an awsome game.

I've found that when you are still hunting and spook deer; The can often will put the deer back at ease. Especially when it's one of those situations where the deer trots off a little bit then stops and looks back to see what made the noise or what was the movement it saw. Cover the hole with your finger with inside unit inside up against the end with all the holes (Turn it upside down then put finger on hole) Slowly let the mechanism inside slide back down by turning unit upright. For less "intense" bleats only allow the inside sliding mechanism to go half way. It's amazing how often a spooked deer can be put "Back at ease with these" often lowering it's tail or even flicking it and resuming a ground sniffing feeding mode. Not sure what you mean by the Original can could be I'm telling you stuff you already know?

It worked for my wife today. 3 flips about 15-30 seconds apart. The 7 pointer came in silent to within 30 yards, looking for the doe. She dropped him with a 20 ga. Her stand looked over 3 scrapes on 2 different trails.
