From my own experiences and from listening to deer hunters with trail cams, it seems that coyote populations are up this fall. Has anybody else noticed?

I have seen the opposite near me. Haven’t seen much sign, not hearing them and have yet to catch one! Have been catching fox but no yotes. Saw one set of tracks yesterday where I hunt with the snow on. All the areas where I have caught them in the past, I never caught one this year. Will have to see when the snow is on if they are around or not.

Indeed something happened. Just returned home from my land located at Broome county . Spent 3 days and seen no one deer on my property but saw 3 coyotes ( who spotted me as well without being spooked). No one deer bedding, not much deer poops on 65 acres..... something is going on with deer population.

They're still high here, not sure if I could make a claim about numbers being up or down but still a LOT.
