I’m the Forester on the 30,000 acre Corrigan TLP Tract of timberland in southern Lewis County. We need beaver trappers. 30 + miles of logging roads to access. If anyone is interested in getting permission to trap this land base and details ,send me a PM. I have one guy lined up but need a couple more trappers. I can assist with maps and location of problem beaver.

Austin, There are rats there in the beaver ponds, not much ditch activity. March and April would be great, the trapper I have lined up only traps in the fall. You would have to access with snowmobile then, and snowmobile would have to registered and insured. At that time of year on Tug Hill it would be trapping through the ice. There are 4 main snowmobile trails that cut through the property. So access is still fairly easy, and you could venture of the main trails to get to the beaver. I winter trapped there with a partner , years ago , and we caught 72 beaver and 6 otter, in one season.
PM me if you are interested and I can give more details. Squash

Thanks all for the responses. We are pretty much set with beaver trappers that we have granted unfettered access. However, there is a conservation easement on the property. So where ever the public has trapping and access rights, anyone is welcome to trap. Search East Branch of Fish Creek Conservation easement, and it will explain the rights the general public has on the private land known as the Corrigan TLP Tract.
Thanks again for all the responses. Squash
