Day One is over. Arrived around 12:40, renewed membership, got lunch at Valeriano's, took in the 3 demo's, made the rounds of the vendors, bought a little here and there. I had a great time. Tomorrow I'll have to leave early to watch my grandsons, but next year I think I'll be bringing them with me. Saturday is MINE lol, should be there all day. I'm sorry I'm going to have to miss a LOT of what I want to stay for tomorrow, but missing out on having memory-making time with the twin grandsons would be the greater loss, no contest. In addition to all the great demo's scheduled, I highly recommend to all, Leon Windschitl's demo for Top Lot Coon, I think it starts at 3PM in the new building in front of the regular demo building. I know, I know, coon aren't even worth trapping but the furhandling and put-up is always educational. It's surprising how much of the little things I forget, and many of the questions newbies have revolve around putting up quality fur, but the demo's are designed for that. And yeah, I'm gonna miss it lol! I originally created this in classifieds by accident, copied here. DOH!

Bob, I wouldn't know him if I saw him because, um, wellllll… I'm not sure what he looks like lol. Yes, he had his pic in his avatar before he got kicked off for the 3,987th time, but all I noticed was sunglasses and a fish.

Day Two, great day. Had to leave early as previously stated to be with my grandsons, took them to the farm, even better day. As I was driving out, I thought I saw a familiar face walking in from the parking area. Meh, not sure... "HEY, WHERE YA GOIN, OLD MAN?!?!" Yes, I was right, it was Brian aka Redneck and family! We talked a few minutes, I promised I'd be back tomorrow for the whole day and we'd catch up then. Got home, no water... breaker to the pump tripped, reset, immediately kicked off again. 6 times same thing, then 7th time ok. But nothing. Called the well guy, "holiday weekend, can't say when we'll be able to get there." Lovely. Anyways, if anyone attending is able to see this, please let Brian know about it and that I may not be there at all depending how things go with the water pump. - Tim

Flatiron----one of the best parts of the convention.Especially the part when they raise a ton of money for the kids camp.I cannot praise those boys enough for what they do.

lol... my high school guidance counselor told me that I had a face for radio and a voice for the newspaper, advised me to become a writer. She's dead now. And no, I didn't do it. Didn't write her obit, either.

Great job Mark and Von, helping to ensure continuation of the camps, and congrats to you Bill for receiving the presidents award and for stepping up like you did on behalf of NY trappers.
