In my opinion, and from my experience, there is nothing more humbling than that inch or two of snow near your canine sets. There seem to always be tracks next to, or along side of, my best sets, without them stopping to investigate. I personally don't think there is anything amiss---I think it is just canines being canines. However, you may want to try putting in a fresh, new set---different than the rest---which may spark some interest. Often times, I will make a flashy dirt hole, with a lot of mess--and a very subtle flat set a dozen feet away. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. That's trapping. Good luck.

Welcome to the world of K9s...and to this site. First off what kind of sets are you running?dirthole,post,flat.....and is the wind in your favor?
If you're on location try a post set about 10-12" tall with some LDC on the top and a smear of gland or curiosity lure on it at ground level,on the trap side. This is a very simple and effective set and keeps working threw rain and snow.
Best of luck Charlie
