I have some victors 1 1/2 s, they have a square pan on them . The pan has no bolt and nut holding it on ,but has two tabs holding the pan onto the trap. my question is how do you adjust the pan tension. They have about a half a lbs. now would like to see the at least 1.5 lbs. any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Bmtrapper

If you don't care for them I would suggest you trade them for regular type coil springs. They are a sought after mink trap for their lite tention

You can change your pan tension by bending your dog up,causing it to press down harder on the jaw,by using this method you will have to adjust your pan to set level again,
I have a few of these traps and have caught a number of fox and coon with them by using this method.
Best of luck Charlie
