Well guys I'll be laying steel this wensday now that deer season is going. I've got 24 or so inches as of now gonna be rough. Hope my dads old sled I'm stealing from him can get trail broke so I can use my quad. Any tips for different deep snow sets.

Hey stoneam2006 ain't the only one wondering about this. I have had traps out for a bit and havnt caught a thing. I'm all ears on this subject. I work in this weather full time. It's tough geting out in this cold before work at 430 5 and not catching a d@mn thing. I try to catch k9 but at this point I'd throw a party if I had a few skunk.

Yea it's gonna be tough. I'm hoping if I pack down a snowmobile path the critters will walk them from area to area and try to set on side of paths. But hoping to learn some more options for deep snow....good luck

Hey man I'm just as new to it as u are but something I didn't catch on to until this year. At first I would skin a animal and go right to work fleshing it. Now I'll let them sit for a night then go to work fleshing. Seems to go allot better when that fat thickens up and gets hard. Just something that really helped me. Again I'm really new to it.
