Hi my name is Robert! I want to get into coon hunting I have gone out & bought a bluetick coon hound to train & hunt with! But my problem is that I live in a village & as you have probably guessed the dogs barking does not sit well with some of my neighbors & instead of them coming to talk to me like grown ups they call the cops! Is there anything that i can do to try getting her to stop barking so much?

Many company's make bark collars.... I prefer the garmin pro trashbreaker, becauce I also use it for breaking my hounds and mountain cur off deer. You can put the collar on the dog when it is in the kennel or on the chain set it to bark limiter and after the dog barks more than a few times in a short period of time he will get a tickle... the more he barks the stronger it will tickle. Works very well to teach dogs that barking at home is not ok, does not affect the dog from opening and barking in the woods.
Hope this helps,
Steve

My buddy lives in an area with neighbors. The neighbors have never called the town on him, but to be respectful, he has bark collars on all his hounds. The dogs don't seem to mind. Lol. I'm not sure of the brand. But they definitely work.
