Switch things up! By that I mean don't just use dirt holes. There are many different flat type sets, post sets, holes with only lure, two holes with one lure and the other bait, etc. Use your imagination. The sets may be basic,( trap, lure, bait, urine) experiment a little with different combinations! You will find some combos work well while others don't, but that combo may work better later or at a different location! Keep notes on what you do and your results. You will be amazed by what you find as critters are all different and have different interests that vary from day to day. Just like you going out to eat, today something appeals to you whereas tomorrow it doesn't, but something else does! Don't get in a rut using the same setups and lure/bait combos! Mix it up!

It always pays to talk to the lure maker himself. When dealing with knowledgeable makers you will gain an insight to what the lure or bait is intended for. Most have also years of results to base it off of. Go straight to the horses mouth!! Call or send Jim at Night Owl an email.
