Names Aaron...grew up trapping in the fingerlakes where I grew up. Never really got into coyotes as a kid but where I live now we are crawling with them. Actually lost 2 this year as they pulled my rebar stakes (learned that lesson the hard way) can't wait to learn more and share what I know. my 4 yr old seems to enjoy trapping a heck of alot so hopefully I bc an teach him something too....

Welcome!! Only way to post photos is with photobucket. Free account. Then its the bottom line in the list of links. The one that says forum/message board. Click it, it says "copied" then in the body of the post you're writing, right click and paste.

My boy is 4 also, it was his first year out on the line. He loves it. He can name all the parts of a coilspring trap, fun to do when the DEC checks us, my local ECO's trap too, he floors them. He told one that he was going to put a set by the bridge and catch a mink. He held up a 150, ECO asked him if it was a 110, to which he replied, 'No, this is 5, not 4 1/2, silly animal police man.'
Kids trapping is the best.

I wish I could say, im not familiar with talktalk. If it has a URL link, it should work the same. Paste the URL in the post and I would think it would.

What B&B in Cohocton? Was it The Sarandipty? I grew up in Atlanta, and now live about a mile and a half from where that B&B was. I've spent the last 35 years traipsing up and down the Cohocton River from where it starts up in Springwater down stream, to Bath and beyond. There is no better place in the world, in my eyes anyway. LoL

I too love fishing the cohocton from springwater to avoca. after the May floods last year, naples creek was about pointless for fishing during the summer. the girlfriend and I did the oatka or cohocton commute many days. we took the kayaks from Atlanta to south of Avoca last year, that was a beautiful paddle, only one log jamb portage. this year we are going to try to go from Atlanta to Bath.
