Can I add 1.65 springs to my Bridger 1.75 and if so should I ad lams do to that they are stronger traps then. I have always used stock traps and need to strengthen then up for the winter conditions. Any help would be appreciated.

I put #2 springs and 3/16" lams on mine,I do recommend straight lams not the mtp ones that wrap over the sides.with the short levers there isn't much room for setting them

Add the 4 coil kits to the #1.75s. They're cheap and easy to install

I usually make my own laminations. The #1.65s have rounded jaws instead square, like #1.75s. If you buy factory lam kits for a 1.65, there shouldn't be a clearance issue. #1.75s are better off with custom cut straight rods

Ok, sorry. I wouldn't use #2 springs. It's better to add a 4 coil kit than it is to change your main springs. It's much easier to add 4 coils and if you feel it's too strong, you can remove the 4coils without tearing down the whole trap

I would recommend JC Conner Taos springs. Easy on and off and just enough to power them up!
