I use the fasteners that they sell with the coper tags and then roll the tags up. You can also roll them around the chain I belive ! But after a catch always make sure tag is still there and carry extra

I attach mine like the in the video. Law states it has it be readable. No reason an officer can't take it off and read it.
(3) No person shall fail to identify his/her traps set or placed for taking beaver, otter, mink, muskrat, raccoon, red fox, gray fox, skunk, coyote, bobcat, fisher, pine marten, opossum or weasel with a tag bearing his/her name and residence address which shall be legible at all times.

Same as video . If eco dont like my method then I guess we will chat about that . Iv never had a problem with any thing . I did however have the pleasure of meeting a eco that clearly does not like trapping or trappers in general. He also has nothing good to say about houndsman . His reasons pertain to "his" dear in NY. Apparently this fine gentleman thinks every deer within his area belong to him and every little disturbance will affect the quality of trophy deer. His words not mine. The point to my rambling is any eco with this mindset can/will write a ticket for such minor things. Remember every eco has their own variation of the regulation and how they interpret it. I will keep wrapping my tags like shown in video .

I wrap my tags on. I used to just wire them on but was loosing some after a catch. I thought it would be better to have a tag that stays on than to get caught with a trapped critter that has ripped the tag off.

I attach mine to the chain as close to the anchor as possible and wrap it around the chain. However I might try it like the video and see how it works.

I wrap mine around a swivel. Seems to work good.

I order mine with two holes. Fold in half around a chain link - line up the two holes and use a 1/8" pop rivet to secure. They stay put!

I attach mine with a hog ring and roll the tag around the chain but use my DEC number on the tag .... No name or address ....
