I believe you can just rinse the traps then wax them when they dry. If you wanna dye em then that's another step.

No dye this year just wax and it did well may have to do them twice but im happy took crap off well washed well with water for like 10 min my pots all new looking and all the oil is off new swivels and springs hope they dry soon then to wax it is still need to get ant dirt soon and shift peat I may wax body grippers when I am done running them for coon fyi put water in pot first before adding the works to your pot

After usig the works just rinse them, then put them in the dye or let them dry and then wax if you're only going to wax. Doesn't leave an odor.
Don't wax bodygrips! Myself, I paint my boygrips...rustoleum, brown or black.

Thanks mac traps are all set to go now on to dry dirt and peat I think I may be set for land this year hope to have open water for some time if not I may have to move to some place to trap water lol
