Hey Everyone, im new to the forum but i like what you guys got here. Anyway, ive trapped on and off (mostly off) for about 5 years, This was because i was young and to lazy to get up at 4:30 and check traps before school, but now that im older and have got back in to hunting and all that i wana go back to trapping as i did love it a few years ago. I am moving to a new house with 113 acres and am looking to trap that, and i have a couple more 100 acre properties that i plan to trap, Both are pretty unfamiliar to me. The new house apparently in the surrounding area has a lot of Fisher, which i have never gone after so i need some tips and all that to help with that, im looking at picking up some new 160s for them. I previously trapped muskrats and yotes. And am gona do that again, the property has 2 decent streams bordering it, I need help in what to look for for signs on the stream. I know about muskrats but thats about it, it has a pretty rocky bed and boarders, But all in all i wana go for coyotes, fox, fisher, muskrats, and coons mainly. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. And sorry for the long post

the best thing i could tell you is get out and walk it and learn it...you said there is a small creek or stream walk that see what kind of tracks are on that and go from there...your best bet is to have some what of an idea as to where you wanna focus ur traps b4 season amd make adjustments after that if you feel necessary..not really a answer your looking for but its hard to tell anyone what to do without seeing or knowing about the land ur looking to trap on
