That's great Chico! Did you catch him under the ice?
I have a creek with beavers behind my house (bank beavers) but not sure how to get at them with the creek froze over...all of the beavers I caught back there were caught using castor mounds on the bank with 750MB hiding under the water....now there is nowhere for the beavers to get through the ice to get on shore. Also not exactly sure where there bank holes and feed piles are. Do you think I would have a chance at one of them if I chopped a hole in the ice and wired a 330 to a pole baited with small cottonwood branches to the trigger? If so, might it be better to set in the middle of the creek or along the edge (creek on my property is about 50-75 feet wide and 4-6 feet deep). Lastly, the only castor I have is from the earlier beavers I caught from the same creek...do I need castor from beavers located elsewhere?
Thanks, Dino

find the feed pile & set with popular or aspen as that is there favorite food , make shure you are 15' from lodge you can use a baited 330 or a foot trap set on a pole under the ice ,
