Being this is my 1st year putting up furs ,when do you know your coon is dry enough to sell. Is it when thier is no more oil to wipe off? Thanks for the help bm

Typically, most critters will be ready to take off the stretchers within a couple of days....this certainly depends upon the temperature, but unless you're drying them in a completly unheated area no more than a week

So if it was 50degrees ,2-3 days off the stretcher another week ready to sell .this would be ok?

At 50 degress I would have to say probably 5-7 days.....it also depends somewhat upon the relative humidity as well and there isn't a hard and fast rule as too how long it takes. If the leather is stiff (holds it's shape when taken off) and no longer pliable it's ready.
