I noticed this during deer season. Today while setting K-9 traps in an overgrown field, a couple ant hills had something digging them up, any ideas what would do this? I put a dirt hole down in with the trap on the outside.
Also found some beach trees being girdled, porcupine? Do fisher do this?
Thank you.

oops! Bet you make a catch before you can remove the trap. You have to catch at least one stinker if you want to be a K9 trapper, part of initiation.

Dear Friend, Bed and blend a trap on top of the ant hill. Take a muskrat or mink carcass and pin it to the ground about 6' away and cover it with grass. See how many fox you catch. Regards
