How do you guys store mutiple beaver pelts until selling at the end of the season? Lay them flat, hang them?

When I take them off the board, they curl up. How do I stop this?

Really? It seemed dry. How long would you say? I have them at 60 degrees in a 40% or less humidity storage.
How do you store them after you take them off?
Thx for the 10000000000000000000000000000000th time Wayne.

Lay them flat. You hang them they will curl. I put them on a piece of cardboard, first one fur down, next one fur up and so on. Sometimes put a book on them to keep flatter.

As Mole stated, lay them flat fur side to fur side....but as long as you don't need the boards you can just leave them on until you sell them.

Thanks! Let me ask another question then...
How do you choose which line on the board to nail to? I have heard conflicting views on this. Some say to stretch it and some say to let the pelt hang naturally and nail on that oval.

You have to kind of play it by feel. You pull to much you gain size , yes; But you also thin the fur. You can lose by gainning size. be carefull
