I like wood on just about everything. Good uniform stretch and pinning tails. Fur just seems to look a little better done up on wood feels a bit heavier. MB

I just ordered a half dozen boards to give them a try, I'll have more time to trap this season and I want to put up some good looking fur. Thank you for the input.

Wood all the way, switched last year and like the other guys said , the fur just looks better. Not to mention brings a better price, for me anyway. Don't forget the pins.....lots of pins! And on those coons, don't stretch the tail real tight. Leave it kinda pushed up toward the back. If you pull it too tight it will make the back look fur look thin through the inspection window. A tip I picked up right here on the forum.
