Wanted to see how others beaver sales went. Out of the 16 I had there, 7 were bought back. On the 9 I did sell, the average was $28.94. $3.80 better than my NAFA average a year ago. However this year I shipped everything that was put up, last year I kept the small ones and tanned them. My high for today was $52. I had two beaver in that lot. My low was $2.50 each for a couple of November caught kits. It looks like the February 2012 sale was the one to have beaver in. I didn't ship any beaver to NAFA in February. But I did have a buy back from last year, an XL I-II BR SKY that went for $41. An identical pelt I sold today went for $27. Overall though, I am happy with what I did sell.

One of my buy backs was graded as a western. Had one sell for $58.00 and one sell for $40.00. My other one was bought back. I also had one grade as a western. Did way better on these than the ones sold at FHA.

Did way better on these than the ones sold at FHA. Sold my last NAFA beaver Today (D-Day June the 6th) at Private Treaty and I now have a $42.00 average for the June sale. This in contrast to my March FHA Auction average of $35.42, and then my Pitiful May average with a VERY hard grade where my average was $17.06. beaver are up and down this year so far. walleyed
