clt ---thank you very much----I appricate your time to answer me-----I cant and wont disagree with your openions and ideas--- after all they are yours. I also have a few Bridger #2 mods.Love them ---I also have a few MB's Love them also----during the hay days I had a few Sterlings---(gave them to my son) Great coyote trap----I have always questioned WHY ---- all my life----there are a lot of Bells and Whistle people even in the trapping industry----they want to sell ya worthless junk---I do my best to control my urges and check things out before I buy a few 100.---and cludder up my shop with junk that cant be used for anything. As far as "82" is concerned ---he's a great guy--and knows I had some bad experiences with dogless traps --and wont own one----He loves to bust on me----HELL I-d do the same to him.---as soon as I get the word from the engineers Ill let you know. BY PM ---Thanks Again He SURE DOES!!!! Offered to pay my GF 50 cents for each beaver she fleshed.. Hell of a guy!!

Let me say this. sucessful land trapping depends on three major items .Knowledge of your target animal, wich you will never stop learning. The best equiptment you can put out there and proper and careful set construction.I have been at this since the 60s and I have learned as have Tom, Bill and a lot of others from the old school of hard knocks that you will probanly never be able to take a piece of poorly designed equiptment and turn it into the best.I have tried every mod. that came along when coyote trapping first got big in the east and we did not have the equiptment we have now.so here are some things I have learned.1 I want a trap that is easy to bed rock solid.2 I prefer a dogless trap because of the large unobstructed kill area.3 the pan must be sturdy and as Low AS Possible.4 the jaws should be offset and fastened so that they cannot be ripped out.5 made to anchor from the center of the base. With that said I would rather have 1 doz top notch traps than 3 doz others,I can honestly say that I took a K9 from every location I set last season and I give a lot of credit to using the best equiptment and supplies I can get.

Here we go again ----"82" and half the STORY -----Its true I did offer his girl friend .50 cents a beaver --to flesh them ----she is new at the game---how do I know if she can flesh a beaver---or jest hack it into peaces-----BUT I ALSO OFFERED HER ALL SHE COULD EAT.----SHE could also take "82" a dogie bag full of tid-bits home.(50 lb. bag.)---I ask YA'S ISNT THAT A GOOD OFFER---TO SOMEONE YOU DONT EVEN KNOW. ?----and our president could count it as a new job created in the failing job market. I kind-a think "82" should stand tall and put his hat over his heart---and thank god for friends like ME

Bill you would think that as generous as we old farts are about sharing our vast knowledge gained from freezing fingers skinning beaver miles back in the woods, traveling countless mile on foot checking traps that they would out of sheer gratitude and respect come over and put up our measly little catches that our beat up old bodies allow us for say a cold one and a new tale or two.

oldeman-----you are correct ----you could have 82 one week ---- and I could have him the next.----May-be if he has that girlfriend trained we could ---put the finished fur in the freezer that 82 does ---- and she could stretch it when its her turn to be at your's or my fur shed.I would suggest THE all they can eat PLAN ---and we can work out a payment plan.---I HAVE A COUPLE OF OLD COTS ----I can put up in the fur shed so sleeping arrangements wont be a problem. The food was solved first ----and a couple of boxes of baby whipes should keep them clean.----HELLS---BELLS---may-be we should cut a couple of things ----they may ---WANT TO STAY---- With a deal like that.

I think we should feed them well after all a beaver carcass and some potatoes ,onions and carrots should keep them going in good shape.I do think you are right about not making it too attractive a deal.Maybe having them cut and split wood for heat might be appropriate. We could throw in alittle bonus if all our fur makes top lot.

I like the idea ----of wood splitting ----it should take some of the welfare out of the deal----definatly a deal that has so much to offer --- could put us stuck with a couple of perminate boarders.----- "Yep" a big pot of beaver stew---will probably keep there weight up and a big SMILE on there faces.-----and as a bonus a few pounds of deer meat and a jar of Jalapenos thrown in ( Thanksgiving and Christmas time) ---will definatly improve our TOP LOT standings. "HELLS BELLS" ---they will probably gain weight -----get lazy --- and we would be back where we started.---- well a little help is better than none ----- We definatly have to work on cutting down our ---GIVING --- when we put these deals together---

You two keep it up.. All that talk of giving away stuff for free... Great food, a bed, place to sleep, some money... Obama will confiscate all your other stuff and redistribute as he alone sees fit.... As for me... I will head to the cave as previously meantioned in "Fox Dens"... Nice and secure now... Well hidden with new entrance/escape holes added

DONT ASK ----JIM and I still cant go with in 200 yds of one of them stores----or off to the crowbar hotel.....----and all Jim wanted to do was to paint a USMC Bull-dog on one of them gals in the window. The judge didnt see anything good about the idea. ( think he was in the peace corps) and we were going to paint it on her back. GO figure. Well when the cops arrived ----I have to admit ---It did look like Jim was trying a new wrestling hold on one of them gals.----think he slipped or something. ---- Another bad day.

lol... that bulldog didn't have the usmc stamp... darn thing said troy built, think the judge must of been a patron of sort, noticed the extra fisher flagging on his robe and his initials carved into the bench of shame next to brunners and kilroys ... jim

Did he have the "pink" fisher flagging? I dont think you two can go back to the mall ever.. Brunner said he knew you two and they sent the ugly tropper after him!

we seen her 300lbs and sporting the real bulldog tatoo.... bill and the holy man tried talking to her, holy man thought she was one of forty, was looking to trade in the hippo.... think bill was relieved when he found out she wasn't... you know...him not having to do his patriotic duty and all.... came back all smiles... something about that big lovable tattooed trooper mumbling how she always loved jeromey and now that she took care of victor and the confused judge with the hot pink fisher flagging, which happened to be a gift, from the gubinator.....
if i remember right... bills exact words on what she said was, ...... "i always loved jeromey... now he's mine all mine"...jim
