There is only one kinda of good porcupine and that is a dead one can't believe you let that nasty thing go them things cost me over a thousand dollars last year getting the quills out of my huntin dogs mouth and faces

here is the porcipine i caught in one of my traps...he was set free without injury...what an experience. You can get $5.00 to $8.00 for an intact porcupine skull from the "Skull Polishers". You can get around $4.00 to $6.00 an ounce for the Quills from Makers of Native American Jewelry who do Quill Art work. A porky usually has two to three ounces of Quills. If you skin a porcupine whole with the feet intact, some taxidermists will buy them from you for mounts. walleyed
