whats the chance of holes now be there in the fall. found a new ditch the water low on the holes are nice and clear can see them with no problem first time in over 20yrs i can see the holes should i mark them now or do you guys think i am wasting time . i know the water going up and it will be dirty later on in the yr.

Mark, you should definitely mark them now as the MARSHRAT will have a much easier time Finding those holes that way. It can't hurt but you won't know if the Muskrats are still using them in Late fall until then. Down side is , all your competition will know where they are also unless you are sneaky about your marking system. walleyed

Even if they aren't using them come fall them mink will still travel them.......catch most my mink that way

Yeah I caught 4 mink in the same hole this past fall.

Walleye,, you are funny....last year I marked some runs and someone threw my stakes in the road and replaced them with theirs....this year I am looking forward to returning the favor...lol
