I'm going to try "THE WORKS" Toilet Bowl Cleaner for stripping gunk/rust/wax off last fall's traps that were especially nasty when I pulled them in January.
I Left them out hanging on the saw horses to let the weather work on them, and now I'm ready to Strip/ Dye/Wax prior to summer storage.
I can't read the fine print directions on the back of "the works" bottle so question is: How much water per bottle for your "Boiling Cauldron".
I bought four of the 32 fluid ounce bottles and I'm now trying to get an idea of mixture ratios to get the job done successfully the first time around.
I normally used to use "SANIFLUSH" or more recently "DRAINO" to get the job done but have heard good things about "The works"
Any input on this Question would be appreciated.

walleyed, not sure about ratio for boilin-- but it says do not mix w/any other chemical especially chlorine and causes skin burns and eye damage so just be careful not to get any on ya! and rinse plenty good when done hope this helps Ed

I use 1 bottle for every 10-15 gallons of water...The stuff works great and your traps will come out looking brand new ;D

As already mentioned, this stuff is nasty so I always put my traps in the pot, then add the water and then finally the Works...

I asked my wife if she ever used it, she said yep, don't I remember the stuff she used in the old apartment that took the rust stains off everything (well water with lots of iron in it)? Just poured it in the toilet and a few hours, clean. She used to buy it at the Dollar Store but can't find it anymore. She said good, strong stuff. LOL!.
