Was on that trapperman one day last week .I was on the ADC page Talking trapping beaver, one guy had said that you can keep the fur even after the season although its not worth any thing. I was under the impression that only during an open season can a NWCO keep the pelts .The guy who said this is from N.Y. also. Is this true?

In certain situations, yes, you can keep the pelts after a closed season but it has to state that on the permit if I'm not mistaken.

Don't hold me to it, and I will check to be certtain,but it used to be that doing ADC work we were allowed to keep and utilize Beaver up till 30 days after the season was closed.
