8.00 average on rats seems pretty low, there must have been some really bad putup fur there or there are smaller rats up north?

a few .50 rats will bring down the avg. 17.10 for a rat is great price .but 8.92 seems a little low on rat avg . maybe the market is falling back a little , i was not up there to see the fur .lots of no sale fur now come? .

There was a lot of nice fur but alot of not so great too. I saw some of the worse coons I have ever seen that were "put up" Many rats had holes, some had hair falling out, etc. 6 or 7 buyers when I left at lot 300.

A 10 percent commision brings a 17.00 rat down to 15.30, but I bet there weren't too many of them. I would like to see what each trapper was offered instead of an overall average. I wish I could have made it up there but I had family obligations to fulfill.

there were a lot of well priced rats at the sale , there were also some green rats sold and small fall rats there that brought the prices down the only way you will know what brings the prices down is go to the sales & see. some people should go to sales to see the differences between well handled fur & not so good fur put ups.

Damaged and heavily damaged rats will also bring down the averages.

Just curious as to what the turn around time usually is for the seller's checks to be sent out after the auction.
Thanks Woj
