thank you. the trap is reset and re lured. the dam break set was not touched so i made a 330 castor mound with the last of your Bucky beaver lure. i caught this one one my home made concoction.

My trap i made works flawlessly. weighed about 40lbs. I just stood up and gave you a standing ovation!! Be proud of that and keep on doing your thing!! WAY TO GO!!!

Looks great! cool idea to salvage some old traps too! how many beavers so far this year? Once your truck is ready theyre really gonna be in trouble!

for you control work guys do you find the castor mounds get hit before the dam breaks?

One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was on a permit opening the dam before I started trapping the beaver. Definitely wasn't thinking. Got all my castor mounds and other sets up and opened the d@mn. Talk about dumb on my part

i made a 1 foot by 8 inch break in two of the dams and put a #5 long there. then i made a 280 castor mound by the one and a castor mound with my duke longspring and caught one in the duke.
