How did some of you guys come up with your names on here. Mine is fairly straight forward. I caught a King salmon once that was 36 lbs 8 oz (as much as i weighed when i caught it).

last year when i was starting to aquire a few traps a good friend GAVE me a dozen or so #2 victor square jaw w/ outside laminations and base plates. his name is mr. r. martin. its kind of a tribute to that old bird that said he'd never use them again. only string attatched is that i tell him some of my trapline adventures when we see each other. seems like more than a fair deal to me. ;D mm#2 here's his pic with a nice red fox he shot while i was calling.

Well mine is based on my initials and then what I like to do in my spare time, throw things. I'm talking scottish games and track and field, not punches or beer bottles

I am trying to be a better flyfisherman, but my casting is not as good as I would like it to be. However, it is getting better.

Worked the third shift for over 10 years 10pm to 6am. Not anymore but during those long............ nights at work I had plenty of time to dream about lure making and lure formulas to experiment with when I got home. So even though I didn't have alot of found memories of working the "night shift" I guess I adopted the NIght Owl name to reward myself for sticking it out. So Night Owl came from day dreaming on one of those nights that were dragging along. Some dreams do come true!!

Mine came from a combination of things. Having purchased an old dairy along the Susquehanna river called River Valley Farms and having aspirations of opening a Sporting goods store to go along my nuisance wildlife and fur trapping hobby I just picked up the name. Of course a lot of my trapping is naturally in the river valley now.
