Was very warm on the line today and then it got hot. The fur is cooperating but the fur handling weather is not. You really have to get to it when things get too warm and a pile of critters await your knife. I for one, don't like to rush the job, but warm weather leaves one no choice. Some trap line shots from today: Below is more fur than I care to rush to skin due to the warm weather. I hope everyone is keeping up. OH. Did I mention we also caught and released FOUR (4) Snapping Turtles !!! Thanks for looking. walleyed

I enjoy following along on your line.In a way though, now that I have time on my hands, there is nothing I would like to be doing right now more than my running own spring trapline and our season is closed.I am to find out why.I dont see for the life of me where things are any different where I live than they are an hr. to the east where the season is still open.
