I pulled this from the KB website, www.kbtrap.com/KB_Traps_Fur_Handling.htmlSchefter Shackle NEW!! Our newest product in the KB Line. This skinning gambrel was brought to our attention by our friend Toby Edwards, NY agent for Fur Harvesters Auction in North Bay, Ontario. Every spring North Bay holds its annual spring conventions. One of the activities is the speed processing of coon of which Toby competes. A gentleman by the name of Dale Schefter showed up with a new gambrel he had developed. With this Toby saw many advantages. Basically you just throw the animal’s legs into it. Quick, Easy, Fast!! No ropes, twine or chain to open. Just start skinning! Dale is currently producing the Shackle for the Canadian market & we are now privileged to manufacture it for the states. Sticking to the KB philosophy "KB tough", this is a lifetime product. Not only can this be used for fur bearing animals, the idea originated from the poultry industry, so this also works great for duck, turkey, geese, partridge, pheasant, squirrel & rabbits, etc...
