This is a strong indication of the new found strength and popularity of wild fur.

Must be bballou on that top lot beaver. I would have guessed it was a big one from jsevering, but I hear his fur skinner just doesn't put them up that well. That's good to keep those averages tho- thanks jim.

beavers look like they are staying pretty strong, we hardly hit them at all this year, we dont ship to the sales, sell locally...... you must of made out alright with your beav's scott........ have any in the sale or do you sell to a local buyer also.......jim

Jim: Go ahead and tell Scott the story about your top lot of FUR FELT beaver, or Ill have to get Dave and she wolf to tell every one on the site.( a dozen broken and bent knives to put up 20 beaver) WOW.

ed was commenting on what nice clear back shearable beaver we had...... I misunderstood him........went to work with my rubber coatet sthingy " Im a law abiding sort of guy" bent a few and lost some front teeth trying to shear.......when I was done you could see clear through the back and the fur buyer said it was some of the best hatters he had put up in awhile.... after when I found out what I did through the misunderstanding... "ed talks strange at times"... I asked him if he was still mad at me...........guess I really didnt do to bad as he commented on how we didnt have one heavey graded as a slight and as far as hatters go we didnt do too awful bad......said we made enough to replace the rubber coated sthingys and we might even get a buck or two from some of the fly fisherman that tie their own........still dont know what there gonna do with all those bent sthingys.......jim

Jim: The convention comm. has been looking for someone like you. They need someone to entertain on Sat nite. I think we jest found um. Ill clear it with she wolf and you will be in like Flinn. Dont expect much pay------ Wayne said we dont have a budget as of yet. Maby a jar of red pop and a hotdog will hold ya for a while.
