What are your thoughts on Bacon Grease for fox?

Dear Friend, Try this.......take a piece of cement block and pour or smear some bacon grease on it. Set a trail cam where fox coyotes and coon travel/hunt and observe. You will see the critters lick that block untill the grease and the hide on their tongues are gone. Regards papabear

Dear Friend, To make the bacon grease useable in cold weather..... in a quart jar take a pint of bacon grease add about 4 oz of beaver sack oil fill the jar with fish juice and mix well. you should end up with a nice workable paste. Regards papabear

Thanks Pappa Bear. I have experimented with bacon grease in a dirt hole. I know of no other commercial lure which gets such a digging response.

Try limburger cheese if you want to see a digging response. They love the stuff.

Try limburger cheese if you want to see a digging response. They love the stuff. Will certainly try it. Thank you. What I like about the bacon grease is it soaks write into the bottom of the hole.
