chuck hunting is not good around here anymore. the farmers are moving out and all the fields are growing up or there is a house there now

i went bowfishing the other day but all the rain brought the water level up and the carp weren't visible for any shots. we ended up only shooting one

You're obviously in a prime woodchuck area. That was a whole summers worth of chucks for me when I was 14-15. I hunted with a single shot Ithaca Model 49 saddlegun 22cal. If I missed on the first shot I jumped up and reloaded on the run to the woodchucks hole. When he turned around and stuck his head out I shot him in the back of his head. I killed 43 one summer off the farm we lived next to. Great shooting young men. Trap Hunt Fish 24/7 john

Savage 17HMR with an ACCU Trigger, 6-18 adjustable turret scope, with a bi-pod. Anything within 150 yards is dead. 5 shot groups the size of a nickel at 75 yards. This gun is a great gun for your kids to shoot some squirrels its an absolute tack driver.
