I got talking to a professor yesterday about donating a fox skull I kept this year to the college's collection of mounts, skins and skulls when he asked if I had a red fox that could be used for mounting because an older mount is starting to deteriorate. I told him I don't but that I would put a thing on here looking for one. The college would pay the same price as the market value for the fur, but he said they would prefer the fox whole so whoever does the mount can skin it and get the form to be the correct size for the specific animal. I think a pelt skinned with "claws on" would be acceptable as well though. Shoot me a PM if you are interested. Thanks, Eric

Eric, if you don't find one in the carcass, I may have one that is dried that is mountable. I'd just have to check it's ears and make sure the bottom lip is there.

Thanks to those who PM'd me and thanks John. I found a frozen whole fox that Tom Miller, pres. of GVTA has agreed to part with.
